This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to those users of the Site (“Visitors”) who visit without paying dues, members who register and pay membership dues (“Members”), and donors who make a donation of funds (“Donors”).
“Personally Identifiable Information”
Refers to any information that the Site collects during membership registration or renewal from Members, consisting of name, address, phone number, and email address. We do no collect any information from Visitors or Donors.
We manually maintain the same Member information in the third-party site “iContact.com” for purposes of membership tracking and blasting e-mail communications.
How does the Site use Personally Identifiable Information?
We use Personally Identifiable Information to communicate with Members via e-mail or telephone, to make event and other announcements, fulfill membership dues payments, and publish our annual member directory, a paper document distributed to Members only. We may also use Personally Identifiable Information to contact Members in response to specific inquiries, or to provide requested information.

How is Personally Identifiable Information stored?
Personally Identifiable Information collected from AtlantaMusicClub.org Members is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties. Member information stored on iContact.com servers is protected by iContact.com’s encryption protocols and systems. Member information stored on PayPal.com servers is protected by PayPal.com’s encryption protocols and systems.
What choices are available to Visitors regarding collection, use and distribution of the information?
Members may opt out of receiving event announcements, from being included in our annual membership directory, or from or being contacted by us by responding to emails we send, or by contacting us at (404) 872-9670.
Are Cookies Used on the Site?
No cookies are used on the Site, iContact.com, or PayPal.com.
How does the Site keep Personally Identifiable Information secure?
All of our board members are familiar with our security policy and practices. The Personally Identifiable Information of our Members is only accessible to a limited number of qualified board members who are given credentials in order to gain access to the information. Our website traffic is secured by a Comodo SSL certificate, in place to protect information sent over the Internet. We continuously run SiteLock’s “Fix” software to scan our Site daily, automatically fix any malware, and alert us if any malware is found. Sensitive information, such as credit card information, is stored only on PayPal.com’s servers and protected by PayPal.com’s encryption protocols and systems, in place to protect information sent over the Internet. While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place and we will not be liable to Members for any such occurrences.
How can Members correct any inaccuracies in Personally Identifiable Information?
Members may contact us to update Personally Identifiable Information about them or to correct any inaccuracies by emailing us at email@example.com.
Can a Member delete or deactivate Personally Identifiable Information collected by the Site?
Members may unsubscribe or re-subscribe to our mailing list by using the link at the bottom of any of our blast emails. Members may contact us to delete all Personally Identifiable Information about them, which will require cancellation of membership. Pro-rated refunds must be approved on a case-by-case basis by our Treasurer.
AtlantaMusicClub.org directly links to PayPal.com, a third-party website, to process membership dues and donation payments. Please note that when you link to this site, you are moving off of our Site and onto their web site.
